My goal is to foster a sense of community around local food and beverage in Washington State. I am a lover of local food, an amateur cook and an artisan chocolate and coffee maker. This website is devoted to the things that I am most passionate about. You will find articles on restaurants and food artisans around the Pacific Northwest, many great recipes with all sorts of fun topics, and my Firebird Food’s line of the best handmade, Organic, Rainforest chocolate and single origin, direct trade coffee in the world. My writing, my career, and my volunteer work are all centered around trying to make this world a little better.
