CARNATION CSA, Changing Seasons Farm – 2012

Dear 2011 CSA Members:

Changing Seasons Farm is happy to offer another year of fresh local produce through Community Supported Agriculture. We would love to have you as a member again.

Our 2012 CSA will run 18 weeks, starting in late June and lasting through late October. The value per box will be approximately $25 worth of vegetables, $450 for the season. This is the same value as last year, with two additional weeks. We will add a Google-Pay tab to the web site in April. We can work out a payment plan if that works best for you.

We were delighted to hear from one customer that the quality of our produce is “unparalleled”!

This year we will put 7 to 10 items in each weekly box (probably a little more in late summer). This is similar to what many of our neighbor farmers offer in their vegetables boxes. The box of produce should feed a small family, or a couple with a vegetable-centered diet. We heard that last year’s boxes were too full in mid-summer for some people. You may share a box with someone, or if you want more vegetables, you can purchase more than one box.

We expect to offer box pick up Sunday afternoon at the farm from 3 – 6 pm. Small Threads for Kids on Gilman Boulevard in Issaquah continues to be our other box pick-up location. Possible times might be Sunday afternoon from 3 – 5 pm and/or Monday at a time to be determined.

Please let us know if you are interested in participating in Changing Seasons Farm 2012 CSA, and what your preference would be for produce pick-up, and we will add you to the 2012 interested people list.
