Behind Gilman Village on Juniper, lies the one-year old Issaquah Coffee Company. Proudly serving Stumptown Coffee, the Issaquah Coffee Company has been a favorite of many moms, young kids, and young business people looking for the non-bigger-chain independent coffee house experience.
Great vibe, decent seating and a friendly staff, this spot is worth trying to find. Favorite part? Locally house-made baked goods (lots of gluten-free options too) that are not from the big bakeries, but from nearby kitchens. Assorted baked goods include “dough breads,” scones, cookies, muffins, pie and Gelato (summer only) and a handful of house-made coffee creations like the Cougar Mountain Latte (vanilla, caramel, and cinnamon), and Tiger Mountain Coffee (dark chocolate) as well as a few more.
Oh, did I mention they carry Firebird Chocolate? History tells us that coffee in Gilman Village has been a hard sell, but not here…business is thriving. Happy One-Year Anniversary Issaquah Coffee Company. Here’s to MANY more!
How to get there: Issaquah Coffee Company 317 NW Gilman Blvd. #46, Issaquah, WA (behind Gilman Village off of Juniper)
